There's no other way to explain it except it's just the way I feel.  It's been a month now since my Mom left her body and I just take it all just one day at a time...

It's been a long time...

Well it sure has been a long time.  And tonight I threw together some actual paintings :)

This is actually not quite the right colour as the original.  And actually the original is not quite the colour I've intended, either because the city is still more blue than I've intended it to be.  Oh well.  Guess I might as well take the blue pill anyway but at least the sky is metallic gold!  Ha ha :)

Time Capsule

My old bike. Rode many of miles on it back in the day and now it sits covered in rust and moss yet still has a character of its own. It was like revisiting a part of my youth. Metaphorically, to me it's a reminder to clean off the rust and the moss to remember even more of the simple things in life all over again...

Work in Progress

Yeah it's a slower process than I expected it to be, but it's still steadily coming along and tonight I am happy with the little things.  Lately I've been really inspired with a mix of nostalgia with sci-fi movies it's so funny how it all somehow comes out in the things that I decide to make.  Yep having fun with every little thing and tomorrow's another day, so let's see what happens....

New Inspirations

So here I go again trying something new. This is just the beginning of a new path in my creative journey which includes the use of different materials. These earrings, however are made from old hard drive parts which I've painted, then wire wrapped some Swarovski crystal and glass beads around them.

In the end, if you're not using it, you may as well recycle it and turn it into art. :)

Random Oddities at the Liquidation Store

Here are some pics I took when we wandered into a liquidation store on the way back home from the rock and gem show. Some of the stuff they had in there was so bizarre, I couldn't help but snap some shots.
