Summer Evening of 2015

Here are some pics I took from my yard at around 9pm.  No filtering, just all natural. I love the warm pink glow that was spread all over.  Mother Nature showing her love. :)

Outdoor & Garden Delights

Ancient Rose Bush
keeps on bloomin'.  I love the how the angle of the sun just hit it right

Ancient Rose Bush II
Couldn't resist the contrasting background.  And the smell?  Very sweet :)
Backyard evening.  So dim, yet bright and wonderful.  This was from a few nights ago.  Everything was pink and so lovely :)
Eat the sky.  It's like cotton candy :)
Silhouette of a tree in my backyard which I used to swing on when I was much younger
Same tree, different angle
A close up of some pansies I bought a couple weeks ago
Same pansies, different angle.
Close Up of Purple Daisy.  Forgot the real name but my stepmom, Glo got them for me and I think they're gonna thrive :)
.
They're pretty and they're pink but I forgot the name of these, too.  Planted them 2 weeks ago by the cherry tree and they're doing well :)
I wanted more colourful flowers to plant by the cherry tree by the veggie garden.  Glo helped me pick these ones out.  I think they look pretty good there:)
My first veggie garden is gettin' big
And here's my herb garden.  From left to right: Bazil, Dill, Chilli Peppers, Cilantro.  You know I like Dill and all but...this is re-Dill-lulous!
Zucchini!
Peas 'O Plenty :)

All in all, as much as I love to make things look nice it makes me even more pleased to see even a few bees flying around pollinating off some of the flowers.  A long time ago, I used to be afraid of bees because of their stinging ability.  Now when I see a bee I worship it.  They need that positive energy now!

Sun & Fog

I took these photos from my window this morning.  It was so blindingly bright I could hardly even see while snapping the pictures.  Then of course I later added a filter for more dramatic effect.

No filters or cam effects...

...just the morning sun, and the camera in my iPad which is unusual for someone like me who is a junky for special fx to just shoot and leave as is. Sometimes nature needs no filter. It was 7:15 am as I was starting my daily routine. Everything was quiet and the morning sun of spring was shedding a new light for the day. I love mornings like this.

I Got Flowers!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.  My sweetie man came home today saying. "I don't do cut flowers 'cause they die so here's some in a pot that will last".  And I'm thinkin' yep and so does our love.  And they do smell lovely, too.  :)

"Campanula Get Mee"
(yes that's what they're called)

Time Capsule

My old bike. Rode many of miles on it back in the day and now it sits covered in rust and moss yet still has a character of its own. It was like revisiting a part of my youth. Metaphorically, to me it's a reminder to clean off the rust and the moss to remember even more of the simple things in life all over again...

Nostalgic Journey: Looking at TV's

So as we went wandering about in an antique shop, I couldn't help but notice the ancient old tv sets. Funny how they used to come in many different styles, shapes, and sizes way back in the day. Just a little bit of history which is fascinating to me.
