They're pretty and they're pink but I forgot the name of these, too.  Planted them 2 weeks ago by the cherry tree and they're doing well :)

I wanted more colourful flowers to plant by the cherry tree by the veggie garden.  Glo helped me pick these ones out.  I think they look pretty good there:)

All in all, as much as I love to make things look nice it makes me even more pleased to see even a few bees flying around pollinating off some of the flowers.  A long time ago, I used to be afraid of bees because of their stinging ability.  Now when I see a bee I worship it.  They need that positive energy now!

Lamp Light Delight

Tonight I go crafty again...with lamps!

So today I went to the dollar store and couldn't resist buying this battery powered LED lantern.  Then I strung some beads together for it to hang off of.  It's super light and economical :)

Then finally,  I took this lamp which I bought from Ikea long ago which originally had a lampshade similar to the lantern from above but got ruined by certain cats trampling on it.  So I made this other lampshade out of vellum upon which I printed a few of my original photo images. And it's put in a safer place where it won't get trampled on.  Gotta thank my cats for this inspiration.

The Olympic Leaf of 2014

I love the country I live in.  I love all the countries and all the people who live in them.  As far as the olympics go,  I have all the respect in all the world for all who go through all the training, their passion, & the support of their families.  In the end, if life is a game, well then we're all a part of it.  So here are some pretty pics I took tonight.
